Lesson & Trip Booking Conditions:
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required 90 days before your trip to confirm your booking. The remaining 50% balance must be paid 30 days before your trip starts and no refund or credit will be paid after this time.
- Stu strongly advises you to take out travel insurance so that you can claim for your fishing trip deposit / balance payment, in the event you have to cancel your trip.
- All trip costs include 15% New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (GST).
- There is 4% service charge for paying by credit card
Online Shop Terms & Conditions
Stu's Fly Shop terms and conditions comply with NZ legislation, including the Consumer Guarantees Act. The prices shown on this website are generally compared with recommended retail prices provided by the suppliers. Prices are subject to alteration without notice due to the possible fluctuations in manufacturing costs, GST or international exchange rates etc. Should any price increase occur you will be notified wherever possible. We strive to give you the best service available. However if you do find the same item cheaper elsewhere we will try our utmost to match the price.
Alternatives and Availability:
Stu's Fly Shop will try to avoid any disappointment, on occasions where listed goods are not available, by offering items of similar value or better specification and value to your original choice.
We endeavour to ensure product availability wherever possible, all products and services are subject to availability and maybe withdrawn at anytime without prior notice. If an item is out of stock we will back order this for you, unless advised otherwise. You will be informed, or advised on your invoice upon delivery. You will not be charged for any item(s) that are unavailable until despatch and you have the right to cancel item(s) before despatch.
Stu's Fly Shop are not responsible for compensating you for any unforeseeable losses you may suffer in relation to goods ordered and if goods are not supplied, deemed faulty, damaged in transit.
Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
All prices on this website include GST, for orders made from the NZ this is charged at 12.5%.
Weights and Measurements:
All sizes and measurements are approximate, but Stu's Fly Shop aim to be as accurate as possible. Construction details can also be at variance to specifications if manufacturers modify or improve any article during its lifetime.
You have the right to cancel your order with us, in accordance with Consumer Guarantees Act. Stu's Fly Shop allow 28 days beginning after your goods are received. The unused goods, as sold including any offer/free item(s) received in conjunction with the returned item(s) must be returned, at the customer’s expense, in the original packaging within the 28 days of notice to cancel. We reserve the right to have the goods inspected by a technician prior to replacement or refund. The above compliments your statutory rights, which remain unaffected.
In the unlikely event your order is damaged in transit please contact us immediately on (064) (0)3 2488890. Please retain the original package for returning your order. Our couriers will arrange a time suited with you to come and inspect and collect the parcel. We will arrange for a prompt replacement or refund, whichever is your preference.
If you suspect a fault with your product please call us on (064) (0)3 2488890, you will be advised the best method for dealing with your problem.
All products on this website are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for twelve months from the date of purchase, this does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse.
Manufacturers Defect Found:
· The item(s) will be repaired, replaced or the value of returned item(s) refunded at your discretion.
· If the item(s) are discontinued we will offer a replacement of equal or better specification.
If the item(s) are to be returned please contact Stu's Fly Shop on: (064) (0)3 2488890 Mon-Fri 9.30am – 5pm, you will be advised the best method of return. Please ensure that the items are in original or secure packaging, where necessary please state the fault. Enclose proof of purchase i.e. Invoice/Receipt along with your full personal details.
Return by standard post (if the item has found to have a manufacturing defect this will be refunded/credited). Obtain a certificate of posting from your post shop or courier, regretfully we cannot be held responsible for goods whilst in transit.
Stu's Fly Shop agrees to supply and you agree to purchase goods subject to these terms and conditions, which shall supersede any terms and conditions on any purchase order or document that you submit to Stu's Fly Shop.
These terms and conditions supersede and take precedence over any previous terms and conditions. All goods remain property of Stu's Fly Shop until full payment has been received. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of NZ and each party agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NZ.
